Shah Rukh Khan is all set to appear as the host of the television show TED Talks India: Nayi Soch which was slated to premiere on the small screen in October (around Diwali).

However it is now being reported that Shah Rukh’s TV show has most likely been postponed to mid-November or December in order to avoid a clash with Akshay Kumar’s television show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (in which Kumar will appear in the capacity of a super judge) and also to avoid a clash with Farah Khan’s star studded show The Lip Sing Battle, in which many popular celebrities are set to appear. Both these much awaited shows will reportedly air on television during the Saturday-Sunday weekend slot.

“Shah Rukh’s show is also slated for weekends, and they want a very good slot for it — either in the morning or evening. They are looking at building it up like Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate, as TED Talks is also very informative. They want to open it in a big way. Even SRK is not in a rush. His last few releases haven’t fared very well at the box office and he is very particular about his comeback show. So, they have decided to wait it out and take a call on it later,” said an unverified source, according to a DNAreport.

This is not the first time that Shah Rukh and Kumar have had a clash. It was very recently that two major releases of the actors were set to collide at the box office, with Shah Rukh’s Jab Harry Met Sejal and Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha both due to release on the Independence Day weekend, however the Jab Harry Met Sejal team took steps to avoid the clash and moved the date of their movie’s release ahead by a week.

While Shah Rukh’s film was mostly trashed by fans and critics alike, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has gone on to become Kumar’s highest grossing film in his entire film career.
