Julia is one of the most talented, most giving, most empathetic people that I’ve had the pleasure to meet. That she takes this news and turns it to help others is of no surprise. Get well, Boss. We love you. #fuckcancer https://t.co/3NTr31nKmz

In an official statement to Hollywood Reporter, HBO said, “Julia received her diagnosis the day after the Emmys. It had no bearing in the decision to renew Veep for a final season. The writers will continue prepping as business as usual and HBO will adjust the production schedule as needed.”
Get well soon, Julia! We want more entertaining turns from you. And like Timothy said, #fuckcancer!
