Varun Dhawan is hoping to leave a smile on the faces of his audience with Judwaa 2.

From day one of the filming of David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2, Varun Dhawan has been excited about it. Stepping into the shoes of Salman Khan is no piece of cake and Varun understands that quite well. The actor has put in his best efforts to conquer the hearts of movie buffs and make them laugh their lungs out just like Salman did twenty years back. Now with just a few hours left for the verdict of the audience, Varun is hoping that when people walk out of the theaters after watching Judwaa 2, they have a big smile on their faces.

In a series of tweets, Varun summed up his journey of working on this remake of the 1997 cult hit Judwaa. He wrote, “Judwaa 2 is out tomorrow Raja and Prem is yours. It’s been such an amazing journey to team up with my father and Sajid sir. I genuinely hope I can make people laugh and smile and just enjoy. We need to learn to laugh on ourselves and not be scared of judgement.” He also mentioned that how he has no influence from the West and is true to his roots. “So I did this film to do that this is an Indian genre not something influenced from the west. I’m not influenced from any Hollywood actor but influenced by @BeingSalmanKhan. Thank you for being my Raja and Prem. The film is urs now,” tweeted Varun.

Varun’s tweets came in the midst of a lot of appreciation that has been pouring in from the entertainment industry after watching Judwaa 2. From Sonakshi Sinha, Ayushmann Khurrana, Maniesh Paul to Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt all have only good things to say about the movie and its three stars Varun, Taapsee and Jacqueline.
