Judwaa 2 movie review: Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez  recreate the 90s with this David Dhawan film.

This Friday we have Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez creating a laughter riot on the silver screen in David Dhawan’s rom-com Judwaa 2. Until now the trailer, songs and dialogue promos have left the movie buffs nostalgic about the 1997 blockbuster Judwaa which had Salman Khan and his doppelganger romancing Karisma Kapoor and Rambha. Now with the David Dhawan film hitting the screens, we try to list the reasons which make Judwaa 2 a must-watch.

As mentioned earlier, Judwaa 2 is a remake of Salman Khan starrer Judwaa which released ten years back in 1997. Filmmaker David Dhawan has maintained that he has kept the original feel of the movie intact with a few changes to keep up with the expectations of youngsters. With Judwaa being a complete entertainer, we expect the same from Judwaa 2 since it is being helmed by the hit churning duo David Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala.

We have seen Taapsee Pannu taking down the bad guys in movies like Pink and Naam Shabana. For the first time in Judwaa 2, we will get to see her glamorous avatar and do what she has never done on the silver screen before. From wearing bikinis to dancing on the streets with her lover boy, Taapsee might leave you amazed this weekend. Apart from Taapsee, the vibrant Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez too, haven’t left any stone unturned to make Judwaa 2 an entertaining experience for the audience. Their perfect comic timing and dialogue delivery is something to watch out for in Judwaa 2.

Ever since Judwaa 2 was announced, the cine fans are going gaga over the recreated versions of chartbusters, “Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12” and “Oonchi Hai Building” in the movie. The two hit numbers are already topping the charts and seeing Varun, Taapsee and Jacqueline grooving to the rehashed tracks is a perfect delight.

With a lot of high-octane drama movies like Bhoomi, Haseena Parkar and others, light-hearted comedy Judwaa 2 definitely stands a chance among the movie buffs. The movie is a perfect dose of candy floss romance, exotic locales and a colourful canvas during the festive season.

The moment when the original Judwaa Salman Khan will meet the Judwaa 2 actor Varun Dhawan on screen, it will make for a whistle-worthy moment in theaters. Salman Khan’s cameo in the remake of his superhit film Judwaa has added to the charm of it.
