Judwaa 2 box office collection: Varun Dhawan’s film beats Jolly LLB 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania in the overseas market, rakes in Rs 6.92 crore

If the start for Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu‘s Judwaa 2 at the domestic box office was anything to go by, then you will know what is going to follow. The film took a fantastic start in the overseas market too, raking in Rs 6.92 crore on day one. But that’s not the end of the film’s feats! Judwaa 2 even beat the opening day collections of Akshay Kumar‘s Jolly LLB 2 and Varun Dhawan’s last release – Badrinath Ki Dulhania in the overseas market. Ain’t that fantastic? Talking about the film’s overseas collection, trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed on Twitter, “#Judwaa2 takes a SUPERB start Overseas. Fri $ 1.06 million [Rs 6.92 crore]. Higher than #JollyLLB2 and #BKD… Pakistan release on Mon.”

Judwaa 2 has got decent reviews in India as well as the overseas market, discarding a few. That along with a huge buzz, some great content and hit songs has made people rush to the theatres, A positive word of mouth publicity has also developed, which will help the film grow and sustain over the first weekend. And with the movie set to release in Pakistan on Monday, we are sure Judwaa 2 will continue to rake in the moolah. According to us, Judwaa 2 should make around Rs 30 – 50 crore from the overseas market alone.
