With just a few days left for the biggest football event to be hosted by India, the seats are filling fast as the country prepares for their first FIFA U-17 World Cup which will be held in the six cities of New Delhi, Goa, Kochi, Guwahati, Kolkata and Navi Mumbai from 6 to 28 October 2017.

Tickets can be purchased both online at http://www.fifa.com/india2017/ticketing and offline at the box offices located in the six host Cities. Starting on 6 October, when the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 kicks off, tickets will be sold at the base price.

Here is how to book tickets for the historical event online:

Step 1: Go to http://tickets.india2017wc.com/

Step 2: Click ‘Book Tickets’ under the venue you want to attend.

Step 3: Click ‘Buy Tickets’ of the match you want to attend.

Step 4: Add no. of tickets you want to buy in your choice of category and press ‘continue’.

Step 5: Verify the details and click ‘Place Order’.

Step 6: You can either login to the website to make payment of the tickets or continue as guest.

Step 7: Select delivery and pickup options from courier or pickup from one of the venues.

Here are the pickup details that you need to know:

Exact ticket pickup location at the venue and the timing will be emailed to you and will also be announced in the “Customer Update” section of website closer to the event. Please check that regularly.

The following documents are compulsory for ticket pickup:
A: The card / bank account owner’s original Govt. issued photo ID, along with a clean, fully legible, photocopy of the same ID.
B: When a debit or credit card has been used for purchase, we also need the original debit/credit card, along with a clean, fully legible, photocopy of the same card.

If sending someone else on behalf of the card holder / bank account owner, then numbers A and B above (originals and photocopies as mentioned) are needed along with the following:
This is required even if the representative’s name has been entered into the system when buying. An authorization letter with the name of the representative, signed by the card holder/bank account owner A Govt issued photo ID of the representative, along with a clean and legible photocopy of the same photo identification
Please note, absence of any one of the documents above can result in the tickets being refused at the ticket pickup window.

Tickets purchased online and at retail outlets can be redeemed starting 28 September at the box office at each stadium from 10.00 to 17.00 every day, except in Guwahati, where the box office is situated at the Inter State Bus Terminal. In order to collect their tickets, fans will need to present a proper identification document (passport or ID) with embedded photo and the respective ticketing booking number.

Fans purchasing a single ticket for double-header matchdays will be able to attend both games at the stadium.

Ticket sales phases
Tickets to this prestigious international tournament will be sold in four phases:

Phase 1: 16 May to 7 July 2017
Only tickets in Categories 1 to 3 at all stadiums are available. Tickets in Category 4 are not on sale. Only venue-specific packages can be purchased. There is a 60 per cent discount.

Phase 2: 7 to 21 July 2017 (individual Visa pre-sale)
Individual match tickets can be purchased in all categories. This offer is reserved exclusively for Visa cardholders. There is a 50 per cent discount.

Phase 3: 21 July to 5 October (individual discount)
Individual match tickets can be purchased in all categories. There is a 25 per cent discount on all individual tickets.

Phase 4: 6 to 28 October (individual sales during the tournament)
Only full-price individual tickets for the relevant matchday can be purchased during this phase.
